Particularly striking scene at Soudal Quick-Step between Alaphilippe and Vansevenant: “Nice to see, you are surprised, aren’t you”

Striking moment in the final of the third Dauphiné stage. Due to a mechanical defect, Alaphilippe had to change bikes with 7 kilometers to go. At Soudal Quick-Step they let Vansevenant wait for the Frenchman to bring him back into the peloton. Before Vansevenant knew it, Alaphilippe raced past him.

The winner of stage 2 single-handedly closed the gap and was back in the peloton before Vansevenant.
