Maringues. Pro Patria takes stock of a mixed season. Pro Patria held its general meeting late Friday afternoon. President Aurélien Rougier, who succeeded Arnaud Chassang a few weeks ago, took stock of a mixed season which saw the association’s hall closed due to non-compliance with safety standards. The works undertaken should allow an opening soon. A gourmet lotto, a belote contest, board game evenings and the end-of-year drink were the association’s main events.
Regarding the sections, the art workshop under the leadership of Yolande Burette, gymnastics (115 members) under the leadership of Charlotte Faty and badminton (50 members) led by Cyril Labat had a great season. The basketball section led by Aurélien Rougier (90 members) brilliantly obtained a promotion to D2 with his pennant team.
At the election of the office, Aurélien Rougier did not wish to continue the adventure at the head of Pro Patria. Élodie Jay, Luzillatoise, licensed in the badminton section was elected president. She will be supported in the vice-presidency by Aurélien Rougier. Marianne Alzaix is treasurer, Baptiste Lebon assistant treasurer and Corine Denier secretary.
