On Saturday afternoon, the Austrian delegation to the European Youth Olympic Games (EYOF) started in Maribor, Slovenia (July 23rd to 29th). The Youth Olympic Team Austria travels by bus from Vienna to Maribor.

Also on board: nine young judoka. They are looked after by the two youth national coaches Bernhard Weißsteiner and Martin Grafl. “Our team is complete and fit. Our goal is to repeat last year’s successes and our dream would be a team medal on Saturday. The athletes are well prepared. For the next few days, you have to prepare yourself mentally for the competition and carry out weight management.
