SANTO DOMINGO.- The Mauricio Báez sports and cultural club announced the celebration of the China Friendship Basketball Cup, which has a special dedication to the Chinese ambassador Chen Luning.
The tournament will begin this afternoon at 6:30, with the participation of 20 clubs from different sectors of Greater Santo Domingo, with a ceremony in the Mauricio Báez Foundation auditorium.
The information was provided by Leo Corporán, advisor to the Mauricio Báez club and founding president of the Mauricio Báez Foundation.
The coordination of the activity is in charge of Xu Tiefei, director of Political Affairs of the Chinese Embassy; José Domínguez (Boyón), president of the Mauricio Báez club and César Heredia Guerra, who chairs the Mauricio Báez Foundation.
