Daniel Radcliffe (33) has a son. The “Harry Potter” star has now revealed that his girlfriend Erin Darke (38) gave birth to a baby boy in the spring. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the British actor said of his offspring: “It’s amazing. It’s crazy and intense but he’s wonderful and Erin is amazing – it’s also a real privilege to spend this time with him.” Speaking about his time off, the 33-year-old added: “So I can just be here with him a lot, which is very nice.”

A rep for the actor confirmed to People magazine in April that Radcliffe and Darke were first-time parents. Radcliffe was previously seen in New York City pushing a stroller. The couple did not reveal any further details about the child at the time.

Less work, more time for the offspring

When asked how fatherhood will affect the roles he takes on in the future, Radcliffe replied: “I think it definitely will. It hasn’t really had an impact on things yet, but I’m really enjoying spending time Time with him and I think I’ll miss him when I go back to work later in the year.” He will probably work a little less in the next few years, according to the star. But he will never stop: “I don’t think that would be good for me either.”

Together for more than ten years

The Brit and the American Darke met about ten years ago on the set of the joint film “Kill Your Darlings” and fell in love a little later. She has also appeared in series like “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” or Hollywood productions like “Thank You for Your Service”. Radcliffe recently caused a stir with his role as Weird Al Yankovic (63) in a biopic about the weird musician.
