It is under an invading heat that the expansion of the municipal dojo is currently continuing, a construction site that holds the attention of all passers-by. This year, the municipality of Bressols has chosen to enlarge this sports facility which receives judokas from the local club, a discipline which is gradually becoming popular thanks to notable ease of access, particularly among schoolchildren. To justify this choice, the elected officials singularly underlined the need to create more adapted changing rooms, making it possible to respect with accuracy the separation between the licensees according to the practitioners men or women. The main room of the dojo shows a large expanse where the tatami mats are laid out, but today much more is needed.
The dojo, during lessons, is the sacred place where one must kill one’s ego. In the dojo, we practice the technique, then we learn to control our body. Beyond the work surface for the adapted exercise of martial discipline, it was necessary to think about changing rooms allowing everyone to be able to change in good conditions, as well as a storage space to arrange all the educational utilities.
