Bye, bye Qatar: FC Bayern soon with discounters on their sleeves?

Now the question arises: Who will advertise on the arm of FC Bayern in the future? So far this has not been communicated. Nevertheless, the Munich team announced a new partnership on Tuesday (July 4th). Included the people of Munich are breaking new ground and making a 180-degree turn.

“FC Bayern and companies in the Schwarz Group have agreed to cooperate,” according to the official club announcement: “In the coming years, the Lidl own brand Saskia mineral water, PreZero and the IT products XM Cyber and STACKIT will become partners of the German record champion.”

FC Bayern is breaking new ground in sponsorship: from Qatar Airways to environmental service providers

From Qatar to the discounter? Probably not. In future, the mineral water from Lidl’s own brand Saskia will only be supplied to the Allianz Arena. Even PreZero, according to the Bavarians “one of the leading environmental service providers in Europe”, is now getting even deeper into the record champions, but PreZero is not getting on the sleeve. The company had already been responsible for waste disposal in the arena for three years, and now “the entire waste management at the FC Bayern locations” is being taken over.

The press release goes on to say: “The aim is to gradually close material cycles and thus improve recycling rates.” Andreas Jung is enthusiastic about the future partnerships. “We are pleased that the companies in the Schwarz Group PreZero, STACKIT and XM Cyber are becoming partners of FC Bayern,” said the Munich-based Marketing Director: “We are also happy about our new beverage cooperation with Saskia Mineralwasser. The cooperation is long-term oriented and in the areas of circular economy and digitization it will be the beginning of a common path.”

Who advertises on FC Bayern’s sleeve? Fresh millions needed for Kane transfer

How much FC Bayern collects from the new partnership has not been announced. The Bayern bosses can use fresh money, however, because the hoped-for commitment from Harry Kane is not that easy. But now the record champions have pulled a transfer ace up their sleeve.

Which promotional ace will grace Bayern’s sleeves in the future has not yet been decided… (smk)
