Larrazabal and Mariezkurrena II lead group A of the San Fermín Couples Tournament thanks to their 9-22 victory over Elordi and Martija on Friday night in a sold-out Labrit in Pamplona for the second time in twelve hours. Jon Mariezkurrena’s excellent performance has tipped the balance of a game broken shortly after starting and without much history.
The absolute dominance of the Berriozar defender over Julen Martija has prevented the manomanista champion from entering the game in conditions of a certain advantage.
