Holger Rune showed strong nerves
Mother Anneke Rune had long since left Court 3 when her son Holger and Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina played an Instant Classic. And the Spaniard showed at 8: 8 in the match tie break of the fifth set that he is a gambler: Because “Foki” served from below. However, Rune nailed the return and moved into the round of 16 a few moments later. Final score 6: 3, 4: 6, 3: 6, 6: 4 and 7: 6 (8) for the 20-year-old Dane.

Medvedev, Alcaraz, Tsitsipas weiter
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Jiri Lehecka also made it into the fourth round. After the two five-set games against Dominic Thiem and Andy Murray, the Greek only needed three rounds this time to progress against Laslo Djere. Lehecka, on the other hand, went the full distance against Tommy Paul and won 6:2, 7:6 (3), 6:7 (5), 6:7 (9) and 6:2.
Daniil Medvedev and Carlos Alcaraz also won their third matches. Medvedev beat Marton Fucsovics in four rounds, as did Alcaraz against the dangerous Chilean Nicolas Jarry.
