Italian Under 23 National Team Announces Squad for European Championships

The manager of the Italian under 23 national team, Alberto D’Auria has formalized the list of twenty blue athletes who will compete, from 8 to 12 August at Ducksfield of Wiener Neustadt, a town of 46,000 inhabitants in Lower Austria south of Vienna, the European championships in the category. The new face compared to the last rallies is that of Michael Vincent Cimini, third baseman-shortstop with a double passport, born in 2001, who, after finishing his commitments with Boston College, decided to end the season with the Grizzlies Campidonico Torino. The twenty Azzurri, and three of the reserves, will meet on 31 July in Ronchi dei Legionari to complete the preparations in view of the departure for Austria, which will take place on the morning of 5 August. Among other things, a friendly match with Alberto Furlani’s New Black Panthers is scheduled for 2 August.

Italy, which will have the vice president Vincent Mignola as head of delegation e Riccardo Sogliateam executive, will make his debut at the European Championship on Tuesday 8 August at 10 am against France.
