EL NUEVO DIARIO, Guerra.- The JD Ozuna Baseball Academy will have its seventh The Best Latin America Cup to be held from July 3 to 7 at its facilities located in the municipality of Guerra, in Santo Domingo Este.
The inaugural act is scheduled to start on Monday, July 3 at 8:30 in the morning and will feature baseball figures such as Vitelio Mejia, who is the president of the Dominican Baseball League (Lidom), the former player and current National Commissioner of this discipline, Junior Noboa, who will be in charge of throwing the first ball, among other figures.
The Best Latin America Cup has become the main event and benchmark for the activities carried out to appreciate the talent of the best baseball prospects in the entire Caribbean area, since the prospects with the highest signatures have participated in it to Major League Baseball.
The JD Ozuna academy has been in charge of developing and signing players of the stature of Robert Puasón with a bonus of 5.2 million dollars and Felnin Celestén with 4.9 million among other valued players.
Nearly 450 top-level prospects spread across 18 teams from renowned talent development academies will participate in the contest for signing purposes to organized baseball.
The 18 participating teams will have 30 players on the roster and it is estimated that the bonuses for signing among all the participating talents will exceed 180 million dollars in the next 2 years.

AQ Sport Agency, La Finca Baseball Academy, Blue Sky Baseball Academy, Banana Baseball Academy, Anib, Paulino baseball academy, Jhon Carmona Academy Prospect, among others.
