Jong Sparta Rotterdam also won its third exhibition match this afternoon. Against Shakhtar Donetsk’s peers, the spectacle ended in 2-8. Dano Lourens was the match winner with a hat trick in seven minutes.
Jong Sparta has made an excellent start to the exhibition campaign with victories over Jong PSV (0-3) and DVS’33 (1-3). That campaign was continued tonight with an exhibition match against Jong Shakhtar at CWO in Vlaardingen. Jong Shakhtar, which was the home team on paper, had the first chance in the game from a free kick. However, Tsukanov Ivan shot well over. On the other hand, Jong Sparta finished its first chance. Mehmet Yuksel received the ball as a gift from Jong Shakhtar’s defense and punished it mercilessly. The attacker made it 0-1 with a good shot. It was also almost Yuksel, who signed for the 0-2. Goalkeeper Kravets Vladyslav, however, had an answer to the winger’s attempt.
Two minutes later, the same Vladyslav made a painful mistake. The goalie wanted to handle the long ball after a back pass, but shot at Hamza el Dahri, causing the stronghold to roll into the Jong Shakhtar goal. It meant the 0-2 and one of the simplest goals El Dahri will probably make in his career. Jong Sparta was then a few buddies too big for Jong Shakhtar and took a 0-4 lead within half an hour. The 0-3 was the most beautiful goal. After a beautiful long ball from Tiziano Vianello, Jorn Triep outplayed goalkeeper Vladyslav, after which the midfielder simply signed for the 0-3. One minute later, Triep was able to cheer again. This time Vladyslav had no chance, because Triep’s shot was deflected by one of his teammates. Jong Shakhtar showed little, but made it 1-4 just before half time. Drozd Anton’s cross was slid in at the far post by Pushkarov Oleh. Despite this goal against, Jong Sparta went to the dressing room with a big lead.
In the second half, many new names appeared on the field of CWO on the side of Jong Sparta. Mike Frimpong was one of those newbies and soon had the 1-5 on his shoe. However, Barchenko Dys, who was under the bar at Jong Shakhtar in the second half, made a free save. After this, Jong Shakhtar came out of her shell and got some chances. First, Holonskyi Valentyn shot over after a deflected corner kick, after which Oleh also killed a great chance by shooting wide. In the end it was Tsukanov Viktor who made it 2-4 with a deflected shot.
Subsequently, Jong Sparta took over the initiative again, with Aymane Bais having a good opportunity, but not getting the ball between the posts. In the end it was Augustin Drakpe who decided the game. After Frimpong already missed a good chance, Drakpe did score from the ensuing corner kick: 2-5. Dano Lourens then struck by making a hat-trick in seven minutes. His first came from the penalty spot after a foul on Jay den Haan. His second goal came two minutes later, then a low slider in the 87th minute made it 2-8 and completed the hat-trick.
So Jong Sparta had little trouble with Jong Shakhtar and easily won 2-8. On Saturday there is a showdown with Feyenoord O21 on the program in Maassluis.
