The events occurred around 5:30 p.m. local time in a popular Miami shopping area where a man allegedly took hostage two people who were inside a Victoria’s Secret store whom he threatened to stab.
According to police reports, one of the officers opened fire on the suspect and managed to injure him. Larsa was a few meters from the shooting, but fortunately his life was never at risk.

In the video that Pippen shared, you can see the police officers trying to control the situation and moving people away from the danger zone. Later on, it can be seen how two officers take a man out of one of the premises, walking on his own feet, who appears to be injured or dismayed.
“Marcus Jordan and I were on Lincoln Road when an officer-involved shooting occurred. A man held two people hostage at knifepoint. Police officers responded and an officer shot the suspect. I am grateful to the Miami Beach police department, it was scary to see everyone running and screaming, ”Larsa Pippen wrote in a story on her Instagram account.
A Miami Beach Police Department spokesperson said the suspect was taken to a hospital after the shooting but was later pronounced dead. The incident is currently under investigation by the authorities.
