I wasn’t able to play some shots well from the tees. The putting is good but it is absolutely necessary to work on the driver. »
The Australian is three steps ahead of Thomas Pieters, Marc Leishman and Louis Oosthuizen (-9 total). If the first two elements of the trio were already well ranked on Friday evening, the South African made a formidable rise in the leaderboard. Indeed, the captain of the Stinger GC returned a superb card of 63, thanks to an eagle on hole number 13, seven birdies and despite a bogey.
