After a great season at SLUC Nancy, Mike Scott, the American strong winger for nine NBA seasons, will discover the EuroLeague with ASVEL. The player and the clan have managed to reach an agreement: the formalization is imminent.

It still seems to have some under the sole. “He” is Mike Scott, position 4/3 with a generous CV with 612 NBA games. In discussion lately with the Rhône club, the 35-year-old American has agreed with ASVEL, according to our information, and will therefore discover the EuroLeague at the start of the school year. The formalization is imminent.

Finals MVP in Puerto Rico

Landed at the promoted Nancy in October 2022 to compensate for the injury of Donte Grantham then extended at the end of 2022 for the rest of the season, the former Philadelphia 76ers adapted very quickly to the French championship. Blossoming in Gentilly under the orders of Sylvain Lautié, Mike Scott was one of the strong men of the maintenance of the Cougars in Betclic ÉLITE: in 30 minutes, he shot 14.3 points at 50.9% shooting success, 6 .6 rebounds and 1.7 assists for 15.6 rating. In the company of Tremont Waters and Ronald March, he took advantage of the summer break to move to Puerto Rico where he was recently crowned champion and MVP of the finals, with the Carolina Gigantes.

Very empowered in Lorraine, Mike Scott will probably be a little less so in the Rhône and will have to succeed in blending into the collective of TJ Parker, in addition to Mbaye Ndiaye and Charles Kahudi, more focused on defense.
