The German volleyball players suffered a defeat at the end of the Nations League.
The team of national coach Michal Winiarski lost in Anaheim (USA) against France with 1:3 (25:21, 20:25, 22:25, 21:25). The selection of the German Volleyball Association had no chance of reaching the final round of the eight best teams before the game.
The German team won three of its twelve games in the Volleyball Nations League, which is held at various venues over a period of six weeks, and finished the preliminary round in eleventh place. In the games, points for the world rankings are awarded, which can ultimately be decisive for the Olympic qualification for Paris 2024.
