MATAGALPA – NICARAGUA / On the morning of this Monday, July 24, 2023, the delivery of the official suits with which the Men’s National Basketball Team will represent Nicaragua in Belize was made.
The official uniform was received by the national champion intermediate basketball team of the Eliseo Picado National Institute.
These athletes who are a pride of our country received the proper equipment, among them; gaming shoes, bags, t-shirts
shorts, busos and jackets.
During the delivery, the physical education teacher of the Eliseo Picado National InstituteSorayda Lanzas Rodríguez expressed “Proudly as INEP we are going to participate in the Central American games in Belize, in the intermediate category men’s basketball discipline. In the ages of 13 and 14 and it is the first time that as a center we participate in this competition“.
The teacher addedAs Nicaraguans we are going to give our best in these Central American games that will take place in Belize, from August 1 to 8, where a delegation of 30 basketball and tennis athletes will travel, duly prepared to give their best.“.
The young athlete Cristopher Ayestas Salinas pointed out that they are physically, mentally and psychologically prepared to give their best, in addition to thanking our government, teachers and parents for their support.
The uniform that this team will proudly wear in the games CODICADER 2023 Based in Belize, it was delivered on the field of the Eliseo Picado de Matagalpa National Institute, a space where these young people have trained with discipline and love to leave high the name of Nicaragua.
The delivery was carried out through the Nicaraguan Institute of Sports IND, the Ministry of Education, the Alexis Arguello sports movement of Juventud Sandinista 19 de Julio, sponsors and the municipal and political authorities of Matagalpa in the presence of parents.
