On Saturday, a quartet of Prague teams reached the preliminary round of the domestic MOL Cup competition, but the success rate was only a quarter. Only coach Karel Jeřábek’s men from Újezd Praha 4 were able to advance after a dramatic battle on the ground of the divisional newcomer from Hřebče, which was decided by extra time. The division native from Vokovice lost to the Chomutov team in a match played on the field in Blšany. Last year’s champion of the championship, the Spoj team, lost at home to Venice nad Jizerou. The winner of the Teskahor cup, FC Tempo, fought bravely at home against strong Kladno, but in the end narrowly lost to them.
