Real Madrid is told PSG’s asking price for Kylian Mbappé

Real Madrid know what it has to cough up to sign Kylian Mbappé. Paris Saint-Germain requires an amount of 250 million euros, reports Marca. This would make the French star attacker the most expensive player ever in one fell swoop. That record is still held by Neymar, who made the switch to les Parisiens for 222 million euros.
Whether Real will actually pay this amount for Mbappé remains to be seen. The Frenchman would be willing to sit out his contract, which expires in the summer of 2024, with the Parisians and then be able to leave for the Spanish capital for free. That would be good news for the Royal Dutch, as the amount of 250 million euros is higher than the Madrilenians are willing to pay.
Earlier, the French club management already accepted an offer of 300 million euros from Al-Hilal, but the seventy-time international himself was not interested in the switch, despite the astronomical salary he could earn there. Reportedly, a salary of 700 million was waiting for Mbappé in Saudi Arabia.
PSG did not include the attacker in their 29-man squad for the Japan tour in a bid to increase pressure to either extend or leave. Real Madrid has been aiming for the 24-year-old superstar for some time and now seems to have the best papers to take over Mbappé permanently. If he does move to Real this summer, he could be the second player after Jude Bellingham’s transfer to move to Madrid for more than a hundred million euros.
