Even the biggest optimists at VfL Sindelfingen had not expected such a rush. More than 1700 participants from 19 countries – including Australia – have registered for the 21st International Judo Tournament on Saturday and Sunday in the Glaspalast. Then the organizer had to pull the ripcord and issue a registration stop.
