The months go by but are not alike for the residents of the Les Tournelles retirement home. The entertainment department had scheduled an introduction to archery and blowpipe with Georges Neyret from the Arc Plaisir club in Chirens, on July 3. Residents of the establishment and beneficiaries of the “Atout Age” scheme, after a popular country meal taken together, shared this new activity. No one wanted to compete with William Tell by putting an apple on his head, but everyone preferred to aim for the intended targets. Many have tried it, as well as families and staff. But it turned out to be more difficult than expected and the lucky ones who managed to hit the bullseye were few.
