Riccardo Piatti: “Novak is, always, totally tennis”

In early spring, he celebrated the fifth anniversary of his Piatti Tennis Center, his “home”, in Bordighera, fifty kilometers east of the Monte-Carlo Country Club. There, 20 coaches, eight physical trainers and four physiotherapists work daily. Ex-coach, among others, of Novak Djokovic, and Jannik Sinner, who compete Friday for a place in the Wimbledon final (2:30 p.m.), but also of Ivan Ljubicic or Richard Gasquet, extremely respected by all the circuit for his expertise and good nature, Riccardo Piatti, at the age of 64, takes an enlightened look at those he has helped and at tennis, the red thread of his life for half a century.
