Roger Federer on stage with Coldplay to sing “Don’t Panic”

Retired from the courts since his last match at the Laver Cup in September 2022, Roger Federer is taking full advantage of the time he has now. This Sunday evening, in Zurich, the Swiss went on stage to push the song alongside the group Coldplay. Big fan of the British group, the former world number one accepted the invitation of Chris Martin, the singer and leader of the band.

It was he who announced the arrival of a fifth member, before introducing Roger Federer, who took the stage to the cheers of the Swiss public, who have not forgotten his legend. The man with 20 Grand Slams then accompanied the group on the first title of the first album “Don’t Panic”, going so far as to do a little solo. Uncomfortable, the Swiss still lent himself to the game with a big smile, as usual.

For the record, the Swiss record is gigantic. To the titles of the Grand Slam, we must add six Masters, a Davis Cup and even an Olympic gold medal (in doubles with Stan Wawrinka), the gold of the singles remaining the only important trophy which he lacks. In total, he won 103 titles on the ATP circuit and spent 310 weeks at the top of the world.
