Sigma Olomouc footballers managed the third duel and the last one awaits them before leaving for the game training camp in Austria. There, the team led by coach Václav Jílek will try to improve productivity. “We are not completely satisfied with it,” said Václav Jílek after the match with the Polish team.

You beat Termalica 3:0, but there could have been more goals again.
Satisfaction with the approach and overall, how the game organization worked, how the press things worked. On the other hand, we are not satisfied with the efficiency and solution of the final phase. Of course, we are satisfied with the result, but if the match ended 8:2, it would probably be much more in line with the chances we created.
Lukáš Juliš third match, third goal. Does it fulfill what I came here with?
Clearly. I can only confirm it. His greatest weapon is the way and execution of finishing in the opponent’s penalty area. The moment he gets there, he’s able to deal with it. It’s a difference compared to those young guys, like Denis Kramář, or maybe not so young Jakub Přichystal. There is not so much peace and quality of ending solution. I believe that they will also score goals over time, because it cannot depend on one player.

You’ve tried several deployment and staffing options. Is your line-up crystallizing yet?
We are more or less halfway through the preparation. After a very demanding fortnight, when we completed the fitness block, the players are pedaling very well. The positions are doubled and it will depend on the camp next week, how the boys will face each other there and how their matches will go. We have some skeleton in our head, but I’m glad that the team is competitive today. There is pressure in some positions and it motivates the players to work in every practice, match and moment. I can unequivocally say that the players who can do it best and will be able to meet our requirements will go into the season in the starting lineup.
You kept Mikeš Cahel about longer than planned. Could he go to training?
We haven’t talked about it specifically yet. The reason was clear, we lost Jirka Sláma and Ondra Zmrzlý, now both are back, but we still have Víťa Beneš out, so we alternate with Ondra Zmrzlý in the stopper position. We wanted to have two full-fledged left-footed players in the side. The first matches showed more contribution and quality. Now in the fatigue and by the fact that we are meeting with more advanced teams, it can be seen that he needs to gather some experience. No matter how it turns out, those three weeks are very important for him and for us in his further development.
