Simone Fontecchio, winger of Utah Jazz and Italbasket, was a guest of Gianluca Gazzoli on his podcast Pass by the BSMT where he talked about his first year in the NBA but also about what he had to go through to get where he is now:
“Nobody thought I’d go to the NBA, especially when I played in Milan, last year I played very little and nobody could have imagined something like this. Not even I could have ever imagined such a thing. When I was in Milan I didn’t feel inferior to anyone. Mike James was annoying because he wanted me to play. He pleased me and gave me even more incentive to train ”.
Of course he talked about so many topics with Gianluca Gazzoli, including the wrong free throws with France last summer and the beautiful atmosphere in the national team, also thanks to Pozzecco. So we suggest you enjoy the whole interview because it’s always nice to listen to Simone Fontecchio’s journey through the Passa podcast of the BSMT.
