As part of the constant activity of prevention and control of the territory prepared on the coast by the Police of Viterbo intensified in the summer months, yesterday afternoon staff of the State Police of the Tarquinia PS Commissariat proceeded to check a car in Montalto di Castro with Tunisian nationals on board.

Inside the car, subjected to the necessary checks, a baseball bat was found hidden and therefore the driver was reported for carrying objects capable of offending without justified reason.

Furthermore, since the man did not have valid reasons to remain in that territory, with a provision from the Quaestor of Viterbo, he was repatriated to his place of residence with a ban on returning to the municipality of Montalto di Castro for three years.

Also following the strengthening of the personnel of the police station of Tarquinia, the extraordinary control services of the State Police will continue throughout the summer period on the Viterbo coast, aimed at guaranteeing compliance with the rules and preventing the commission of illegal acts, activities which in the end week will also be strengthened with the help of the Lazio Crime Prevention Department.
