Many triathletes from RSG Böblingen traveled to Austria to take part in the Challenge Walchsee in Kaiserwinkl. 1.9 kilometers of swimming in the crystal-clear water, 86 kilometers of cycling through the mountains with around 1100 meters in altitude and 21 kilometers with around 160 meters of altitude running around the water were on the plan. Rain, some wind and cool temperatures at the start were challenging conditions, but it got a little drier on the second lap.
