The operation “crepy beach» ended at Sainte-Agathe Park on August 6th. Open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. since July 8, the 18th edition had to deal with inclement weather.
To ensure the smooth running of sports activities, Guillaume Nivolle, animator at the city’s sports department, was surrounded by young volunteers who provided reception and monitoring of the activities throughout Crépy Plage. Visitors were thus able to access workshops: karting, cycling, table tennis and even badminton.
Sustained activity
In the center of the park, was the main activity of the last weekend. Imposing with its 80 meters long by eight meters high, the inflatable structure saw several dozen young people come to try to qualify for the final of the Jumping warrior, obstacle course, which should take place on August 26 in Paris.
“The race is held as part of the activities of Paris 2024 and the ten best times will be qualified”, explains Guillaume Nivolle. The facilitator, helped by young volunteers, also regulated access to the various sports workshops.
A rather gloomy last weekend
This last weekend at Crépy-plage will unfortunately have been ruined by the rain. The advice of the organizers to come “with sunglasses and sunscreen” will therefore have fallen flat. The fact remains that despite a weather that must be described as rotten, the young people that nothing can stop and especially not a few drops of rain, will have answered present.
