Alaphilippe, De Lie and the Yates brothers at the Quebec GP

Since their creation in 2010, the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec et de Montréal (GPCQM) have expanded their line-up and the two editions (September 8 in Quebec, September 10 in Montreal) will this year welcome the French Christophe Laporte (Jumbo Visma), David Gaudu (Groupama-FDJ), Julian Alaphilippe (Soudal Quick-Step) and Benoît Cosnefroy (AG2R Citroën Team), winner last year in the streets of the capital of the Canadian province.

Also present will be the brothers Adam and Simon Yates (UAE Team Emirates and Team Jayco AlUla), the regional of the stage, the Canadian Michael Woods (Israel-Premier Tech), winner of the 9th stage of the Tour this summer (in Puy de Dôme), the Polish Michal Kwiatkowski (Ineos Grenadiers) who also won the Grande Boucle in July (at the Grand Colombier) or the Belgian Arnaud De Lie for the Lotto DSTNY team.

Winner in Montreal last year, Pogacar will be absent

The first course will cover 201.6 km (16 laps of 12.6 km) while Montreal, where Tadej Pogacar won last year (he is absent this time) will welcome the peloton over 221.4 km (18 laps of 12.3 km) and nearly 5,000 meters of elevation gain.
