As promised by an anonymous donor, a new basket was donated for the basketball court outside the Palazingaro in Sala Consilina, the only place in the town where fans of the ball can play in wedges. Several days ago the Polisportiva Pallacanestro company had set up one to give the many local boys and girls who love basketball the opportunity to continue doing so. A few days after the installation, the bitter discovery: the basket had been completely uprooted amidst the disbelief and bitterness of many.

But within a few hours, since the news of the vandalism had spread, several people had made themselves available to lend a hand to repair it. An anonymous donor then informed the company that he had ordered a new basket from a local shop and collected it as soon as possible.
And so it was: yesterday the new basket was installed in the external area of the Palazingaro in Sala Consilina. A basketball match was organized immediately, with the ball in hand, to the delight of the boys and girls and of the club that had had the idea.
