Bayern Munich Sets Final Bid for Harry Kane: Will Tottenham Accept?

London

Bayern Munich has finally let go of its final bid for Harry Kane worth 120 million euros. If Tottenham Hotspur refuses, Die Roten will resign.

Quoted by The Athletic, Bayern made the Rp. 2 trillion offer to Tottenham, Friday (4/8/2023) evening WIB, which must be answered no later than midnight local time.

With a breakdown of 100 million euros up front and the remaining 20 million euros as a bonus, Bayern feels that is the most appropriate valuation for Kane, whose contract at Tottenham has only one season left. Two previous Bayern bids were flatly rejected by Tottenham.

Bayern do not want to drag on in the negotiation process with Tottenham. If Tottenham, in this case Chairman Daniel Levy, still refuses, Bayern will step down and divert their prey to other players.

Kane himself has never openly stated that he wants to leave Tottenham, even though he has rejected a contract extension. Therefore, Tottenham must also immediately answer Bayern’s offer.

Of course, the offer of 120 million euros from Bayern for a player whose contract has 12 months remaining, is somewhat tempting and can be diverted to pursue a substitute. The ball is in the hands of Tottenham Hotspur, take it or leave it?
