Billom. Rock and blues at “Jeudis du pressoir”. On Thursday, the green theater of the Saint-Loup de Billom church was once again filled with music thanks to Thursdays at the press.
As every Thursday since the beginning of July, spectators of all ages had come in large numbers to attend the open-air concert aperitif.
For two months, several associations take turns to hold the bar. That evening it was the turn of the Volants du Turluron badminton club.
The energy of Arcadia opened the evening. If the band had to replace its bass with a baritone, it didn’t lose out. The voices of the two singers carry edgy rock compositions that pleased the public and gave them a good chance to win the springboard and a week of residence thanks to the public vote.
They were followed on stage by The Marshals, a group that did not participate in the springboard. Their deep blues made the audience vibrate and resonate in hearts.
Thursday, August 24, La Degustaciôn (garage rock) will open the festivities at 7:30 p.m. and will be followed, at 9 p.m., by La Jarry (rock, non-springboard group).
