In the period from 07.08.2023 bis 11.09.2023 construction work will be carried out under full closure in the area of the through town of Tegernheim and on the St 2125 between Tegernheim and Donaustauf. The Lines 5, 36/37 and 63 have to be redirected.
Lines 5 and 36/37: Large-scale diversion between Regensburg and Donaustauf
Regional bus routes 5 and 36/37 will be diverted in both directions after the Weichs/DEZ stop via Walhalla-Allee, Odessa-Ring, Straubinger Straße and Barbing.
The Regensburg Donaustaufer Straße, Weichser Weg, Vilsstraße-Gewerbepark, Gewerbepark/Donau-Arena, Kalkwerk, Schwabelweis Baseball-Stadion, Kirchstraße, Fleischmannstraße, Schwabelweis Heyden, Tegernheim M.-Luther-Kirche, Gasthaus Federl, Weinbergstraße and Donaustauf Bayerwaldstraße stops can be reached at are not served on these trips.
In Regensburg, replacement stops will be set up in both directions at the Walhalla-Allee/Vilsstraße intersection.

The changeover from line 5 to line 39 takes place at the Regensburg, Bucharester Str. stop or, in the direction out of town, at the Osterhofener Str. stop.
In Donaustauf, a replacement stop for the Bayerwaldstraße stop will be set up in Maxstraße for lines 5 and 36/37 (journeys to/from Regensburg).
Lines 5 and 36/37 change at the Donaustauf War Memorial stop.

Replacement timetable for line 5 with additional journeys between Regensburg Hbf and Schwabelweis/Tegernheim
In order to continue to connect Schwabelweis and Tegernheim, a replacement service on line 5 runs on the section Regensburg Hbf – Weichs/DEZ – Gewerbepark – Schwabelweis – Tegernheim West (replacement stop) according to a special timetable. The buses run every 40 minutes during the day and every hour in the evening.
The Tegernheim West replacement stop is located in the Tegernheim commercial area near the REWE supermarket. All other stops in Tegernheim cannot be served.

Due to construction work on the Nibelungen Bridge, these trips will be extended out of town until 11.08.2023 and from 21.8. until 01.09.2023 diverted towards the city center between Weichs/DEZ and the main station via Weißenburgstraße and Stobäusplatz.
The stops Dachauplatz, House of Bavarian History, Eiserne Brücke and Wöhrdstraße cannot be served on these journeys in the above-mentioned periods going out of town or going into town.
