Crown Prince Frederik pulled out his sneakers on Friday for a sporting activity. The Danish heir to the throne played a game of badminton with the Danish World Cup team.
“It was a great pleasure to see and hear about the preparations of the players for the World Cup,” said 55-year-old Frederik with images in which he plays enthusiastically. Queen Margrethe’s son had put on a casual shirt with rolled up sleeves and his Nike sneakers for the visit.
The Badminton World Cup kicks off on Monday at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen. Frederik is the patron of the event. Good luck to the players and the entire Danish team.
