Jorge Luis Preciado denounces obstacles in the certification of his 150,000 signatures for the Broad Front – El Sol de México

Jorge Luis Preciado, candidate for the candidacy of the Broad Front for Mexico for the presidency, affirmed that he was the first to gather the 150,000 signatures required in the process of defining the opposition, however, he accused that the company that developed the platform did not He has given you the certificate that you met the requirement.

In a conversation with the media, the former coordinator of the PAN bench in the Senate of the Republic said that since July 24 he had gathered the signatures and asked the company to deliver his certificate, however, he denounced that more than one week of that day they have not delivered the accreditation nor have they answered their messages.

“I want to ask the company to allow all the candidates to know how many signatures they have and to obviously stop manipulating the system because otherwise they will spoil the process,” demanded the applicant.

Due to the above, the applicant went to the Notary Public 29 of the State of Mexico on July 24 to certify their signatures and invited the rest of the applicants to certify that they complied with the requirement due to the failures of the platform and the null response from the developers.

“I am not questioning the Commission (Organizing Committee) or the parties, I am questioning that the company has my 150,000 records stuck there in the belly of its system and they do not give me my certificate, that’s why I had to go to a notary” , said.

Preciado reiterated that he was the first of the 12 candidates to head the Frente Amplio por México to gather the signatures and challenged the candidates who claim to have collected more than 150,000 signatures to prove it like him with a document certified before a notary public, since He explained that once 150 thousand and one signatures are reached, the rest of the headings go to “general sympathies.”

Last week, Senator Xóchitl Gálvez boasted on her social networks that she had gathered 220,000 signatures, for which the former coordinator of the PAN bench in the Upper House asked the company that developed the platform to also deliver her proof.

Given the situation, Jorge Luis Preciado stated that the process of the Broad Front for Mexico to elect its candidate could lose legitimacy.

“If we simulate an electoral process in which it is said that the 150,000 signatures are not real for someone, it is said that the system was manipulated, it is said that there is a business charge towards some with a lot of wool (…) If that happens, which I hope does not happen, the process will be disqualified and we will be in the same illegitimacy that we are questioning López Obrador,” he asserted.
