Kareem Hunt Continues to Explore Options with New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts

Kareem Hunt described his meeting in New Orleans as a “great visit”, and now he will go to Indianapolis to do the same

The Free Agent Running Back Kareem Hunt enjoyed what he characterized as a “great visit” with the New Orleans Saintsand now he will meet with the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Hunt got a call from the Colts before setting foot on the field for his audition with the Saintsand was offered more money, a source told Dianna Russini of ESPN.

Los Colts have an immediate need at running back, with the all-star Jonathan Taylor leaving training camp to rehab an ankle injury. Taylor and the Colts are in a contract dispute over an extension.

Hunt and free agent linebacker Anthony Barr they met with the Saints on Tuesday.

New Orleans is in the market looking to add depth at running back after incumbent Alvin Kamara was suspended for three games for violating the personal conduct policy of the NFL. Los Saints have to Jamaal Williams and to the novice Kendre Miller on staff, but recently they sent the substitute One Benjamin on injured reserve with a torn Achilles tendon.
