Leandro Paredes and Renato Sanches (PSG) leave for AS Roma

Relegated to the second training group of PSG, where he was clearly informed that he was not in the plans this season (like Wijnaldum, Draxler, Dagba …), Leandro Paredes will join AS Roma , where he has already evolved in the past (2014-2015 and 2016-2017).

After long negotiations, the 29-year-old Argentinian reached a final agreement on Monday with the club coached by José Mourinho and will sign up for two seasons plus an optional third. PSG, where he was under contract until June 2024, will pocket a transfer fee of more than €2.5 million with bonuses, the total of which can reach €4.5 million.

Paredes was followed by Atlético and Galatasaray

Last season, already in a similar situation, the world champion had been loaned to Juventus with a purchase option of 22 M€ which had not been exercised by the Italian club at the end of the season. In recent weeks, he was notably followed by Atlético de Madrid or Galatasaray but his preference was for the Roman club.

AS Roma is also very close to registering the signing of another Parisian, Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches, on loan with an obligatory purchase option of €15 million.
