Mac McClung has reached an agreement with the Orlando Magic for the 2023-2024 season, as reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.
He guard He played only two games at the end of last season regular season with the Philadelphia 76ers averaging 12.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. In the G League with the Delaware Blue Coats, he recorded 18.9 points and 5.3 touchdown passes.
According to Charania, the 2023 All-Star dunk champion’s deal is partially guaranteed. While Jason Beede of Orlando Sentinel confirmed that it is a deal Exhibit 10.
The 24-year-old player has only been able to participate in four games with three different teams in his two seasons in the NBA. In 2021-2022 he played a game with the Chicago Bulls and another with the Los Angeles Lakers.
He backcourt Orlando is packed with Cole Anthony, Markelle Fultz, Jalen Suggs, Gary Harris and 2023 sixth pick Anthony Black, so McClung will face some tough competition in the training camp.
