VfL Wolfsburg received a prominent visitor shortly before the start of the season in the Bundesliga. National basketball player and NBA star Daniel Theis from the Indiana Pacers stopped by his favorite club’s training session.
The 31-year-old is currently preparing with the German national team for the World Cup from August 25 to September 10 in Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines.
After the defeat in the Supercup final against Canada the day before in Hamburg, the players were given a day off on Monday. Theis comes from Salzgitter and has been a VfL fan since his youth.
