New Orleans Saints first-year kicker Blake Grupe struggled with security in his first preseason game Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The athlete said, through his account X (formerly Twitter), that he was arrested when entering the field because he did not have his access with him before the meeting.

The 5’7″, 156 lb footballer was pulled over because a security guard thought he was a fan. The Mercedes-Benz Superdome employee didn’t realize he was going after the one who gave the Saints a win.
Grupe indeed managed a 31-yard field goal in the final seconds of the duel, giving the crowd favorites a 26-24 victory.
The 24-year-old signed a free agent contract with the Louisiana team last April. He spent four seasons with the University of Arkansas Razorbacks in the NCAA and later traded with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
