Nicolás Fonseca underwent the rigorous medical examinations to become a new Argentine River Plate player this Tuesday morning at the Rossi Center in Buenos Aires. He will subsequently sign a contract until December 2026.
The millionaires agreed to purchase 60% of the 24-year-old Uruguayan midfielder’s token for $2,400,000, although that is not the amount that will enter Montevideo Wanderers, which only has 30% of the pass.
Part of the negotiation includes Fonseca remaining on loan at Wanderers until the end of the year and joining his new club starting in January, when he seeks to win a position in the squad currently led by Martín Demichelis.
River Plate, which has already been left out of the Copa Libertadores and for the remainder of the season faces the Super League Cup and the Argentine Cup, when for that position with Enzo Pérez, Matías Kranevitter and Bruno Zuculini, who is not sure that he will continue .
