Otávio Edmilson da Silva Monteiro, in short Otávio, can very soon call himself a player of Al-Nassr. Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano reports through his famous ‘here we go’ that the deal is in the final phase. Otávio delivers FC Porto, where he is still under contract until mid-2025, sixty million euros. It means an outgoing transfer record for the Portuguese top club. Aleksandar Mitrovic is also approaching his desired transfer. The attacker leaves Fulham for at least 50 million euros for Al-Hilal.

The amount of sixty million euros is the buyout clause in Otávio’s contract. Porto and Al-Nassr have reached an oral agreement on this. The Saudis will not transfer the amount in one go, but in installments. Once the contracts have been finalized, Otávio will travel to Riyadh to undergo a medical examination. If all goes according to plan, Otávio will become the most expensive outgoing transfer ever from os Dragões. Currently, Éder Militão is the leader (50 million, Real Madrid), followed by Luis Díaz (47 million, Liverpool).

According to the Portuguese Record, 28-year-old Otávio will sign a three-year contract with Al-Nassr. The midfielder, who most often plays on the right, is going to triple his salary in the Middle East. Otávio is also no stranger to Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been playing for Al-Nassr since the winter. The born Brazilian is now a fourteen-time international of Portugal. At the last World Cup in Qatar, he was in the starting line-up in three of the four matches. At his new club, Otávio is likely to form a midfield with two other summer signings, Seko Fofana and Marcelo Brozovic.

Aleksandar Mitrovic
Just like Otávio, Aleksandar Mitrovic also moves to the Saudi Pro League. The Serb has been eyeing a transfer to Al-Hilal for weeks and it now seems to be finally coming. Fulham initially asked for sixty million euros, which led to great anger from Mitrovic and his agent Pini Zahavi. Mitrovic even stated ‘never wanting to play for Fulham again’, but in the game with Everton he came within the lines for another half hour. These were his last minutes for Fulham, which, according to Fabrizio Romano, will receive ‘more than fifty million euros’ for the attack leader. Sky Sports even states that the minimum amount is 53.7 million euros. Mitrovic will undergo the medical examination in Paris on Saturday evening, after which he will travel to Saudi Arabia. There he will sign a three-year contract.
