Pallacanestro Roseto, by virtue of the collaboration agreement reached with the companies Roseto Basketball Academy, Fides Roseto and Virtus Pallacanesto Roseto announces that the young players born in 2006 Brian Dervishi, Antonio Marcucci and Angelo Mastrototaro will be part of the roster available to coach Franco Gramenzi in the season 2023/2024 and will compete in the Under 19 championship of Excellence in double membership.
Dervishi is a 192 cm winger of Albanian origins, who grew up in the Roseto Minibasket School of Professor Saverio Di Blasio, to then continue his career in Virtus Roseto before arriving at the Roseto Basketball Academy, where he played in the Under 15, Under 16 championships and Under 17 d’Eccellenza, as well as the senior ones of Serie C Silver, where in the last season he averaged 8.1ppg.
Marcucci guard of 188 cm, after starting in his hometown Ortona with Giò Basket, has played in the last two seasons in the Roseto Basketball Academy, playing in the Under 17 d’Eccellenza and C Silver championships, averaging 5.9 points between the seniors.
Mastrototaro wing guard of 191 cm, native of Trani (BA) in 2020/2021 he played in the Under 15 and 16 championships of Excellence at Eurobasket Roma, before moving to Roseto the following season and taking part in the Under 17 and 19 of Excellence, in addition to the last two Serie C Silver championships, traveling in the year just ended with an average of 14.4 points.
Of note in their common youth path the achievement of the national Under 17 finals of Excellence in the last two seasons.
Finally, Tommaso Caprara (2005) and Angelo Tommarelli (2006), both of whom grew up in Professor Saverio Di Blasio’s Scuola Minibasket Roseto, will also join the gathering on Sunday 20 August, then continuing their journey in the youth teams with Virtus Roseto and Roseto Basketball.
