The Carabinieri of the Investigative Nucleus of Rome, at the conclusion of the investigative activities, implemented an order for precautionary custody in prison, issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations at the Court of Rome at the request of the Capitoline Public Prosecutor’s Office against of the Ecuadorian citizen, born in 1995, seriously suspected of aggravated and continued sexual violence and of the illicit dissemination of sexually explicit images and videos.
The investigations arose from the complaint of the victim, a twenty-year-old of South American origins, that the man, on at least two separate occasions, after having repeatedly administered alcoholic, narcotic or narcotic substances in public places in the capital, taking advantage of his unconsciousness, he would have subjected her to repeated sexual acts against her will, at the same time filming the violence on her mobile phone.
The Carabinieri of via in Selci, during the investigative phases, outlined the evidentiary framework in support of the accusatory thesis by acquiring the de quo footage and the testimonial statements of the victim’s friends, managing to identify the perpetrator of the violence.
After identifying him, the suspect was subjected to a house search which allowed the discovery of a few grams of narcotic substance, a precision scale and various IT supports, the contents of which will be examined in order to verify the possible presence of further videos and avoid the existence of other victims.
The subject seriously suspected of the crime, who after the usual formalities was taken to the Regina Coeli prison, was already known to the soldiers of the Arma as on 3 August last he had been arrested by the Carabinieri of the Rome Cinecittà station, together with to a Peruvian citizen, since he was found in possession of 440 grams of cocaine divided into 49 ovules.
It should be noted that the proceeding is in the preliminary investigation phase and that the person under investigation must be considered presumed innocent until a final finding of guilt with an irrevocable sentence.
