South Korea’s national recurve men’s and women’s archery teams have qualified for the final at the fourth leg of the 2023 Hyundai Archery World Cup being held in Paris.
Yesterday in the semi-final, Kim Woo-jin, Lee Woo-seok and Kim Je-deok beat Spain 6-0. Entering the competition in the round of 16, the South Koreans had previously overcome Ukraine and Turkey. The three archers from the land of Morning Light will face the Taiwanese in the final on Sunday, who won 6-0 over India in the previous round.
On the women’s side, Kang Chae-young, Yim Si-hyun and An San also won the semi-final 6-0 against the Mexicans. Taegeuk’s warriors will meet the Taiwanese in the final, who eliminated India 6-0.
As for the individual events, eight South Korean archers including those participating in the team events qualified for the second round.
