Wander Franco’s story
Wander Franco, shortstop of the Tampa Bay Rays was born on March 1, 2001 in the Dominican Republic.
He signed with the Rays in 2017 at age 16. He quickly demonstrated his potential in the minor leagues and his major league debut came in June 2021. That year, Franco he became the youngest player to hit a Grand Slam in his first campaign.
