Upsets and Top Contenders to Clash in French Tennis Federation Finals

Like every year, there have been “meteors”: low-ranked players who take several turns and cross the table. This was the case for the Londoner Alain Roussel, unranked in France, who went eight rounds before being beaten by a 15/5. Charlotte Clermont, ranked 30/4, passed five laps.

The final table will see several players numbered in the top of the French Tennis Federation opposing each other. Among the ladies, Camille Moga (43), Pauline Courcoux (58), Iris Ekani (60) and Luisina Giovannini (60) will try to earn a place in the final. Among the men, there will be only three: Adrien Gobat (58), Lucas Bouquet (79) and Vivien Cabos (100).

The finals will be played on Monday August 14 at 2 p.m. for the ladies; at 4 p.m. for the men, the semi-finals being played in the morning.
