The rookie from Victoriaville, selected 38th overall in the last draft, will therefore join the offensive line of the Georgian formation, notably composed of Jake Matthews, Drew Dalman, Chris Lindstrom, Kaleb McGary, Josh Miles, Ryan Neuzil, Kyle Hinton and Jovaughn Gwyn.
According to RDS, the starting role as left guard seems to be opening up to Bergeron after an injury to Matt Hennessy, who was struggling for the same position.
Several media have argued that Bergeron would easily carve out a position with the Falcons, since he had been left out during the last preseason game.
The Falcons open their season on September 10 against the Carolina Panthers at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
