In the first half of the year, thanks to the good performance of core games, the group’s revenue increased by 20.2% year-on-year to 354.4 million yuan, and its gross profit increased by approximately 33.8% to 199.2 million yuan. Net profit and profit attributable to owners of the company increased substantially by approximately 93.6% and 93.0% to approximately RMB39.4 million and approximately RMB39.3 million, respectively. According to the announcement, in the first half of the year, the group’s research and development expenditure was approximately 50.3 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34.2%. Wangchen Technology said that as of now, the group’s research and development of games are going well, including the fishing simulation game “Code Name: Fishing Master”, the operation basketball game “Code Name: Operation Basketball” and the operation rugby game.
