Update from September 7th 2:30 p.m.: There is no winner in Thursday’s friendly between 1. FC Magdeburg and FC Erzgebirge Aue. Both teams separate 1:1 (1:1). Joshua Schwirten put the third division team from Aue in the lead in the 16th minute, Luc Castaignos (37th) equalized in the first half with a penalty kick.

The clubs from the first three leagues use the short break to play friendlies. So does 1. FC Magdeburg. The second division team welcomes the third division team FC Erzgebirge Aue on Thursday in second place at the MDCC Arena. Kick-off is at 12 p.m., admission for spectators starts at 11:30 a.m.
